Awareness is the background of all experience, and that with which we know our thoughts, feelings, sensations, and perceptions. It is constant and unchanging, yet often we struggle to gain enough space from the contents of our experience to take on a fresh perspective that would allow us to break unhelpful patterns and habits.
As a mindfulness coach, I help clients explore and develop their innate capacity for self-awareness. Drawing from non-duality, yogic, and tantric modalities, I work closely with clients to increase their capacity for observing the mind, increasing awareness, and finding stillness. As part of our work together, we will engage in meditation, reflection, and integration practices. I work with clients ranging from curious beginners seeking relief from stress and habitual patterns to experienced spiritual seekers looking for a relational container to deepen their practice.
I have been practicing meditation and engaging both formal and independent studies of various traditions for over 25 years. I received formal training in Eastern contemplative practices through a bachelors degree from Naropa University, and in the Yoga Sutras through a 200-hour yoga teacher training at JP Centre Yoga. I strive to strike a balance between the conceptual understanding and experiential immediacy of these practices and traditions.
